We did a lot of thorough research regarding which iron would be best for us and decided on this one. We looked at high end irons from Laura star to lower end brands like Philips but ultimately the specs on this iron are just mind-blowing and you can see just how powerful of an iron you can get with this for a fraction of the price of a high end brand. This iron also has no heat thermostat as its just steam so it does not and cannot burn you clothes. We have to iron jilbabs weekly so wanted something that would keep this short and sweet and maybe even fun? No? Just me again?
If however the price is still too out of budget for you and you'd like to look for a similar cheaper alternative please make sure you're looking at "Steam GENERATOR Irons" not a steam iron, not a steamer, specifically steam GENERATOR irons as these are the most powerful. You'll also want to compare 3 factors when looking at which to buy:
High pressure bars (the higher the better). The one we use is 7.5 bars.
Steam boost (again, higher the better). The one we use is 560g/min
Continuous steam output (higher the better) Ours is 140g/min. This feature is mostly important for those who do loads of ironing and need to continuously use the steam function on the iron (much like I did in the video below) for a long period of time
You might also want to consider how large of a water tank you'll need. If you are steaming with this iron (1.8L tank) using my technique your water tank will be able to last for about 6/7 jilbab top and skirts. The product description says it can go for 2 hours straight.

I've bought 5 products from this section with supposed cosmetic imperfections (scratches) and have never laid eyes on a single scratch so it really is worth checking this section out.
Ultimately, we decided that this iron was worth investing £150 in, it saves us so much time and sanity. Clothing business aside, I still would have purchased this. I love it. If I were an iron, I'd marry it. PERIODT.
